Sunaina Sinha is the founder and Managing Partner of Cebile Capital, a placement agent and secondaries advisor. Under her leadership, Cebile Capital has quickly become one of the leading advisors in private equity and infrastructure. Cebile Capital has raised exceptional mid-market funds and served as an advisor to both buyers and sellers of a significant number of secondaries deals. In 2015, Sunaina was named Best Placement Agent and Winner of the European Emerging Leaders Awards.
Prior to founding Cebile Capital, Sunaina worked at Brevan Howard, a $40 billion asset manager, where she was in charge of marketing and investor relations in Asia, Middle East and Australia. Earlier, she worked at Bridgewater Associates, an $82 billion asset manager, where she covered investors in Europe, Middle East, Asia and the United States.
Sunaina is also an angel investor and Non-Executive Director. She serves as Executive Chairperson of the Board of Barrecore, Europe’s largest luxury fitness boutique, and as Chairperson of the Board of Mindful Chef . She also serves as Business Advisor to the Stanford Institute for Innovation in Developing Economies (SEED). Sunaina has also been a Guest Lecturer at Stanford University in masters level courses in the School of Engineering, including Global Entrepreneurial Marketing and Global Entrepreneurial Leadership. She has written and published case studies for the Stanford Technology Ventures Program in the Stanford School of Engineering.
Sunaina obtained a BS in Management Science and Engineering and an MS in Chemical Engineering, both from Stanford University where she was also a Mayfield Fellow. Sunaina has an MBA from Harvard Business School.
In her spare time, Sunaina is a keen wine enthusiast, having qualified as a Certified Sommelier from the Court of Masters Sommeliers. She also serves on the London Committee of Human Rights Watch.
Steven Westerback serves as President, Head of the Americas for Cebile Capital and oversees the firm’s placement agent and secondary advisory activities in the region.
Prior to joining Cebile Capital, Steven was a senior member of the Private Funds Group at UBS Investment Bank for 10 years and an officer of UBS Capital, the bank’s balance sheet private equity investment unit. He has advised general partners and institutional investors globally on over $12 billion of completed fund solutions and liquidity transactions for seasoned partnership interest and direct asset portfolios. Steven’s experience includes primary capital raising, tender offers, competitive auctions, team spin-outs and complex structured transactions.
Prior to UBS, Steven was a member of the investment team at Paul Capital, a leading secondary private equity investment manager. Steven holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and is a magna cum laude graduate of Muhlenberg College where he earned degrees in economics and accounting.
Neha Choraria is Associate Partner at Cebile Capital. Most recently, Neha was a Financial Advisor in the Wealth Management Division at deVere Group in Dubai providing professional investment advisory services to institutional investors in the Middle East. She has a BSc in Management Science from the London School of Economics.
Darius is a Principal at Cebile Capital, and brings over 10 years of investment advisory and private equity experience to the firm.
Prior to joining Cebile, Darius was part of the Global Investment Research group at Cambridge Associates, where he was responsible for the evaluation of private investment managers and fund due diligence. Throughout his career, Darius has worked with a variety of clients, including institutional investors and private clients, advising on the construction of custom private equity portfolios and providing investment recommendations on specific fund opportunities.
Before joining Cambridge Associates, Darius was an Associate Director at Imprimatur Capital, an early-stage venture capital firm based in London. At Imprimatur, Darius was responsible for the identification and recruitment of C-Level professionals and advisors for Imprimatur’s investee businesses. Darius started his career as an analyst at Eden Ventures, an early stage venture capital firm, where he was responsible for assessing investment proposals and conducting market analysis due diligence.
Darius received a B.S.E. in Operations Research and Financial Engineering, with a Certificate in Finance, from Princeton University.
Stefano Manna is a Principal at Cebile Capital. With 10 years experience, Stefano brings a wealth of knowledge in advisory, fund management and principal investing.
Prior to joining Cebile Capital, Stefano was Vice President at Greenhill Cogent in the Capital Advisory group. He was responsible for all aspects of client engagement and transaction execution, and has served a wide range of Limited Partners and General Partners throughout Europe and the Middle East.
Prior to joining Greenhill Cogent, Stefano was a member of the investment team at Advanced Capital, a leading private equity investment manager. Previously, he was part of the Corporate Finance team at PFH, an independent investment holding company operating in Italy. Stefano began his career at Rabobank International.
He holds a M.Sc. in Management, and a BA in Finance and Financial Institutions Administration from Bocconi University.
Chris has over 10 years’ experience sourcing, evaluating, structuring, executing and monitoring investments and transactions in the private equity, venture capital and emerging markets project finance spaces. Prior to joining Cebile Capital in 2014, Chris was a deal captain with leading US-based private equity advisory firm, Hamilton Lane, responsible for ex-USA investing for the top performing Co-Investment II and Secondaries II funds.
Previously, on behalf of frontier emerging markets specialist investment bank, Exotix, Chris led the advisory / arranging of the debt financing of Jabal Salab, a zinc oxide mine and processing facility located in the Yemen. Chris has also successfully invested in post bubble technology and telecoms venture opportunities in the USA and Europe with the OM Technology Investment Fund (Dresdner-sponsored) and arranged and executed on numerous asset sales for Dresdner Kleinwort’s Institutional Restructuring Unit, where he had additional responsibilities as Risk Manager. Chris graduated Magna cum Laude from the University of Pennsylvania with a BA in economics, was awarded an MSc in finance from London Business School, and trained and qualified as a Chartered Accountant. His early career was as an equities analyst covering the capital goods sector.
Andrew Roberts is a Principal at Cebile Capital. He has 10 years of experience in investment consulting and wealth management. Prior to joining Cebile Capital, Andrew was with Edward Jones. He established and managed an award-winning investment office for the firm in Toronto.
Working with private clients and institutions, Andrew researched, recommended, and invested clients in global equities, fixed income, ETFs, funds, alternatives and other securities. This provided Andrew with a multi-asset knowledge base and a thorough understanding of global capital markets.
He has a Honors BA in Economics & Philosophy from the University of University of Toronto and earned a MBA from the University of Oxford, Saïd Business School.
Joy is a Vice President at Cebile Capital. Prior to joining the Cebile team, she worked at CITI private bank as a Product Manager for private equity and real estate and at Pantheon Ventures, a private equity firm based in London, as an analyst. She has a degree in History and Philosophy from University College London and is currently studying towards her CAIA degree. Outside of her work, Joy’s passions include food and wine and is studying for the WSET level I wine qualification.
Alice is an Analyst at Cebile Capital. Prior to joining the Cebile team, she completed Summer Internships at Deutsche Bank in the Markets Division and JLL in Real Estate Valuation. She holds a BA (Hons) degree in Philosophy and Literature from the University of Warwick.
Alessio joined Cebile Capital as an Analyst in 2018.
Previously, Alessio was an analyst in the advisory division of Beaumont Invest Services. Before joining BIS, Alessio served as an intern in the investment research department of Stanhope Capital. Prior to joining Stanhope Capital, Alessio worked at Novator Partners as a private equity analyst intern. He earned a BA in Spanish Studies with concentrations in Economics & Finance from Bard College.
Lisa is Operations & HR Director of Cebile Capital. Lisa has over twenty years’ management experience and prior to joining Cebile worked within the Associate Director group at Frank Hirth plc, a well-established top 35 international tax and accounting firm as Head of Business Administration in London and New York.
Most recently, Dorit served as CFO and group Chief Risk Officer (CRO) at Israel Discount Bank (2006-2011) where she led the capital raising and IR of the group. Before Discount Bank she was the CEO of Gmulot, the leading Asset Management Company in Israel, subsidiary of Bank Hapoalim. Prior to heading Gmulot she was head of the provident funds division and CIO of Tfahot Bank.
Currently Dorit serves as Chairperson of the investment committee of Hachshara Insurance and as Chairperson of IFI, an entity engaged in training the local financial services industry. She also serves on the boards of two listed companies. Dorit earned a BA in Economics and an MBA in Business Studies - both from the Hebrew University.
Most recently, Yafit served as the head of business development in the Global Treasury of Discount Bank. Previously, Yafit was the head of private banking and commercial client desk of the trading rooms. Before assume this role, Yafit was a senior OTC trader. During this period she accumulated a deep understanding of the market and complex financial products. Prior to joining Bank Discount Yafit worked at Tamir Fishman investment house.
Yafit earned an BA in Economics and Finance from the College of Management Academic Studies and an LLM from Bar Ilan University. She also holds an ACI Dealing Certificate from The Financial Markets Association.
